Dr. Abigail 'Abbey' Gonzales, DDS
We are excited to welcome you to Opal Dental Studio, a family owned dental practice, owned and operated by Dr. Abbey Gonzales and her husband David Greene. Dr. Gonzales is a DMV born (DC-MD-VA), Tar Heel bred, local family and cosmetic dentist. Her husband David is a software engineer. They’re thrilled to evolve the legacy of Dr. JB Godley, former owner, dentist, and holistic specialist.
Dr. Gonzales is an up and coming Kois Center graduate and budding Iron(wo)man. When she’s not in the clinic or on a continuing education venture, you can find her cycling on nearby greenways, hiking national parks, and dipping her toes in global quests to inspire physical and mental growth. She loves to connect people and food, so whether it be professional mentorship or the tastiest Szechuan restaurant, she’s here to help!
Her mission to breakdown barriers in oral healthcare is supported by her linguistics background, being fluent in Tagalog, Spanish, and English. Patients are uplifted by her energy and motivated to care for their oral health and general well-being. She pursues life-long learning by exploring expert and natural methods to practice dentistry responsibly and safely. They can’t wait to meet you and support your health!
